P.P.R.O.M.

 

               Througout the exam, the mother was insistent on knowing the gender of her baby. This information is usually withheld until viability is confirmed. Its easier to morn the loss of a fetus rather than your baby boy or girl. The fluid held throughout the exam. Inbetween the moans and groans from the mother, she asked again what the sex was. We informed her that it was a boy. The fluid continued to hold and she was sent on her way. Unfortunately the patient felt the fluid pass through her at approximately 12:30 that afternoon. The mother opted not to be seen again, but to let nature take its course.
